School Trips and Visits

During the course of the year various visits will be arranged for the children. These will involve excursions to places of interest and visits to the school by a variety of performers and artists. The purpose of these visits is to broaden the children’s educative experiences. We aim to have a visitor, a local trip and a bigger trip for each class each year, linked to their learning. Our curriculum maps on the website indicate the suggested activities over the year.

In 2024-25 these included Lynsted Kitchen Garden, Otterden Estates, Year 6 trip to 'the Light', Year 6 Residential, and our School Council visited Milstead School,

Also in school we have had Forest School, Golf Lessons, Cricket Lessons, Sunsafe Assembly, Road Safety Assembly, Andrew Parry Music, Rock Steady Music, Movie Night, visited Stepping Stones nursery to read with the little ones, Disco's, opened our Outdoor Classroom and we had the most amazing time at our own school festival "LYNFEST"!

Year 6 Residential 2025

 Our children joined Selling and Milstead and Frinsted Primary Schools at Windmill Hill in Sussex.

They had an amazing time making new friends and learning lots of new skills.

Year 6 Residential

This year, many of our year 6 children have chosen to go on the residential to Kingswood, Ashford. At this activity centre, the children spend 3 nights. It brings learning out of the classroom and allows children to experience activities such as archery, high ropes, zip wire and many more. It develops the children's confidence, resilience and life skills, which are linked to our school's values.
